Trivia: "It Might As Well Rain Until September" was a chart hit for Carole King. She co-wrote the song with her partner Gerry Goffin. Together, they created numerous hits recorded by acts as diverse as The Monkees, Little Eva, Bobby Vee, The Drifters and Herman's Hermits. King's profile grew as a result of her compositions until she became a household name as a recording artist in 1971 with the release of her 'Tapestry' album.
