THE TOP 100 SONGS FROM MUSICALS. (#44). More: tomorrow.
Caffè Lattè presents:
THE
TOP 100 SONGS
FROM
MUSICALS
🎭
From New York’s Broadway and London’s West End to stages across the globe, Caffè Lattè has compiled a list of 100 of the best songs from stage shows. These are all songs created specifically for the stage productions and not theatrical versions of movies or jukebox musicals (eg. “The Lion King”, “Saturday Night Fever” or “Mamma Mia!” and “Jersey Boys”). They’ve touched us or made us cry and some have had us up on our feet dancing in the aisles.

Sunset Boulevard
Drawing inspiration from the 1950 film ‘Sunset Boulevard’, the musical version was adapted by Andrew Lloyd Webber with Don Black and Christopher Hampton. After premiering in 1991, the production opened in the West End 2 years later. Next was a Broadway debut in 1994 with an original cast that included screen actress Glenn Close.
