The musical production focuses on the last week of Jesus' life, seen through the eyes of the apostle Judas Iscariot. "Heaven on their Minds", from the show, deals with Judas' realization that the cult surrounding the Messiah is perilous. The lyrics convey the traitor's increasing disillusionment and concern.The version I have selected is from the 1992 Australian revival of the show. Stevens played Judas. He was the former lead singer of Noiseworks, born in New Zealand and is of Maori descent.
