Century, it’s apropos to look back over the 200 songs since 2000 that have made
the greatest impact on the sound of music as it stands in 2015.
To be eligible for the Top 200,
a song must have officially appeared on an album, CD single or as a download between Jan. 1, 2000 and
December 31, 2014.

with Boyz II Men enjoyed 16 weeks at the top).

Taylor Swift drifted even
further from her country roots and embraced pop with 1 of the most commercial
releases of this decade. “Shake It Off” was co=written by Swift with Max Martin
and Shellback.

Ed Sheeran’s trajectory has

decade. “Thinking Out Loud” is but 1 of the gems on his impeccable ‘X’ album.
It is 1 of the best written love songs that will feature on many wedding days into the future. Songwriting talent and vocal ability ought to help him sustain his success.

Canadian singer Daniel Powter
scored an international hit with “Bad Day”. Its lyrics were instantly relatable.
