CAFFE` LATTE`TOP 2000 TRACKS {EXPANDED EDITION}
#1903 TURN YOUR LOVE AROUND George Benson
"Turn Your Love around" was a new song tacked onto George Benson's 1981 compilation album entitled 'The George Benson Collection'. The jazz/ pop crossover musician enjoyed an R&B #1 with the song, written by Steve Lukather (from Toto) with Jay Graydon and Bill Champlin.
#1904 BEING AT WAR WITH EACH OTHER Barbra Streisand
Barbra Streisand covered a song from Carole King's 'Fantasy' 1 year prior. "Being At War With Each Other" was included on the actress/ vocalist's 1974 album 'The Way We Were' (not to be confused with the film soundtrack LP). Both versions sound contemporary but remain different.
The list is a ranking made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I
cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks.
Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have
universal appeal.
They aren't always the most famous or popular, but simply a personal
choice.This expanded section now includes songs from the last few years. I hope you find some new tracks to love, or re-discover some past favourites.
Along
with climbing among the remaining Top 100, 2 new songs ranked in
positions 1501-2000 will also be added each other weekday.
