1986

Before American band R.E.M. broke through to a mainstream audience, it was a college radio favourite. "Fall On Me" dented the lower rungs of Billboard Magazine's Hot 100. The track was lifted off the 1986 album 'Lifes Rich Pageant' (sic). In the following year, "The One I Love" became the group's first Top 10 hit.
