Canadian performer Alannah Myles released her self-titled debut album in 1989. It spawned the global hit "Black Velvet". 'Rockinghorse' was its follow-up. "Song Instead Of A Kiss" was issued as its lead single. Although it topped the charts in Canada and Israel, the disc failed to dent the UK or US charts.
