Trivia: Although Rod Stewart made 'Sailing" his own, it was originally a single released by The Sutherland Brothers. The song was penned by the duo's Gavin Sutherland. Steve Winwood's older brother Muff produced that version. Tom Dowd handled production on Stewart's remake.
