The Romantics

1980

The Romantics scored a chart hit in Australia (peaking at #2) and Europe with the snappy "What I Like About You". Hard to believe the American rock group failed to crack the US Top 40 with this catchy song. The band had to wait until 1983 to finally achieve a hit single in America, doing so with "Talking In Your Sleep".
