"Ben", the title song from a movie about a killer rat, was written by Don Black and Walter Scharf. It became Michael Jackson's 1st solo worldwide #1 in 1972.
#1387 STARS ON 45 Stars On 45
In 1981, "Stars On 45" became an international #1 single for a group of Dutch singers and musicians under the monicker Stars On 45. It was essentially a medley of songs- mostly by The Beatles. The writing credits mention Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Robbie van Leeuwen, Andy kim and Jeff Barry.
#1388 TEQUILA A.L.T. & The Lost Civilization
A.L.T. & The Lost Civilization scored a hit in 1992 with a Latin-flavoured rap remake of The Champs' 1958 instrumental; #1 "Tequila". The original was composed by Chuck Rio and the cover version consisted of a rap written by A.L.T.'s French-Mexican Al Tribette.

Although credited to both John Lennon & Paul McCartney, "In My Life" was written solely by the former and remains 1 of his best contributions to The Beatles' songbook. The ballad was included on the 1965 LP 'Rubber Soul'.

"Forever Came Today" was the final chart hit written for Diana Ross & The Supremes by the team of Holland/ Dozier/ Holland. The writer/ producers departed Motown soon after. The single was from the girl group's 'Reflections' album in 1968.
