Supertramp enjoyed great success with its 'Breakfast In America' album in 1979. "The Logical Song", penned by group members Rick Davies and Roger Hodgson, went Top 10 in the UK & US.

Irish-American hip hop outfit House Of Pain charted in 1992 with the catchy "Jump Around", written by the group's D. J. Lethal (Lawrence Muggerud) with Erik SChrody

#1483 LAND OF 1,000 DANCES Wilson Pickett
Wilson Pickett took R&B performer Chris Kenner's "Land Of 1,000 Dances" to #1 on the US R&B Chart in 1966.

In 1981, Barry Manilow scored a hit with his remake of "Let's Hang On", a hit originally for The Four Seasons in 1965 and written by Bob Crewe with Denny Randell and Sandy Linzer.
