#1885 ARMY DREAMERS Kate Bush
Kate Bush further demonstrated her songwriting talent with the track "Army Dreamers"; a self-penned anti-war song that still resonates today. The song was lifted as a single from her 1980 album 'Never For Ever' and made the British Top 20.

#1886 CROSS MY HEART Diana Ross
In 1987, Diana Ross released a rather well put together set of new songs on an album entitled 'Red Hot Rhythm & Blues'. Sharon Robinson wrote the love song "Cross My Heart" which Ross sings competently. It remains a highlight of the LP.

The list is a ranking made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks. Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have universal appeal.
