Julio Iglesias was still unknown outside of Spain when he represented his homeland at Eurovision in Amsterdam. The Spanish love song had been penned by the young singer. On the night, it was placed 4th out of a dozen nations. Iglesias went on to become one of the world's best selling recording acts. His son Enrique Iglesias is also a famous performer.
