Kimberley Rew was the guitarist in Katrina and The Waves and he wrote "Walking On Sunshine" for the group. Released in 1985, the fun-filled upbeat single reached the Top 10 in America, Britain, Canada, Australia and Ireland.

The writing and production team of Harry Wayne Casey (KC) and Richard Finch constructed a disco hit for their group KC & The Sunshine Band that reached #1 on the US R&B chart in 1977. It also topped the Canadian chart.
