1 SWEDEN
HEROES Måns Zelmerlöw
Sung
in English
Swedish pop star Zelmerlöw’s song is an
empowering anthem which reminds him of when he struggled to make friends in his
younger years. The use of projection during the performance will impress
audiences. At present, this is the favourite to win. Sweden last triumphed at the
ESC in 2012.

The
mighty pop- opera song “Grande Amore” has Italy poised for its first win since
1990. Il Volo will perform it during
the Grand Final. The trio has worked with Barbra Streisand and won the San Remo

5 UNITED KINGDOM
STILL IN LOVE WITH YOU Electric Velvet
Sung
in English
The UK is in the Grand Final and will be
represented by a electro-swing song that might just attract votes from all over
Europe. The fact that Australia is voting this year could help its prospects.
It’s a risky, but worthwhile, gamble going for this earworm song.
