ABBA has become synonymous with Eurovision. Easily the contest's most successful act ever. 1974 saw Sweden storm to its 1st victory at the ESC with "Waterloo". The single reached #1 in Britain. By the time the group split 8 years later, it had accumulated another 8 chart toppers there. ABBA's "Fernando" is still Australia's longest running #1.
