Some are the best selling, while others may be obscure, but the albums listed here are all worthy of a listen. No compilation/ best of sets. Only exceptional live albums included. This is a personal listing of the albums I enjoy the most to this day.

Stevie Wonder released a powerful trio of watershed albums in the 1970s before dropping his masterwork 'Songs In The Key Of Life' in 1976. The 3 albums began with 'Talking Book', continued with 'Innervisions' and concluded with 'Fulfillingness' First Finale'. The latter is his most cohesive album, dealing with relationships: personal, political, religious and of the social kind. Wonder serves up gorgeous ballads such as "Too Shy To Shy", "Creepin'", "It Ain't No Use" and "Please Don't Go". His music is infused with elements of R&B, funk, jazz and gospel; all helping to make this album timeless. "You Haven't Done Nothin'" is a stinging diatribe against President Nixon. "They Won't Go When I Go" mixes soul with the sounds of the church. "Boogie On Reggae Woman" brings together a funky groove and reggae rhythms. The LP deserved its Album of the Year Grammy Award and #1 status on the U.S. chart and helped posit him for its follow-up album 2 years later.
