but you may not know about the earlier attempts to score a hit record with
prior versions of the same song.
Make You Feel My Love
Many discovered "Make You Feel My Love" when they heard the song on Adele's '19'. That version was unleashed in 2008 and peaked at #4 on the British chart. By then, others had released interpretations of the song, including Billy Joel in 1997 and Garth Brooks the following year.
The love song was written by Bob Dylan and included on his 1997 album 'Time Out Of Mind'. In fact, Joel's single was issued just weeks prior to Dylan's original.
