FRANCE 1969
1969 saw the controversial final result revealing a 4-way tie for the top prize. Today's rules would only allow 1 winner and that victory would have gone to the superb chanson "Un Jour, Un Enfant" (A Day, A Child). The French ballad was performed skilfully by Frida Boccara.
