GIGLIOLA CINQUETTI
ITALY 1974
Gigliola Cinquetti almost won her second Eurovision when she returned representing Italy with the enchanting ballad "Si" (Yes). Ultimately, she could not defeat the infectious appeal of ABBA who leapt ahead with "Waterloo" that year. "Si" ended the night as the runner-up.
