The Phil Collins solo hit "In The Air Tonight" is the subject of arguably the most famous urban legend. Varied versions exist with most involving a drowning man who could have been saved by an onlooker who chose to do nothing. Eminem cited the urban legend in his global smash "Stan" in 2000. Collins has denied that the song has any connection to an actual drowning. He penned the song while dealing with his divorce.
