When Wayne Fontana quit The Mindbenders, Eric Stewart took over lead vocal duties in time for the recording of "A Groovy Kind Of Love". A later line-up of the band saw new recruit Graham Gouldman join. After The Mindbenders spilt, Stewart and Gouldman formed 10CC.
