A Caffè Lattè spotlight on:
THE 100 BEST
REMAKES OF
MOTOWN SONGS
Motown Records was the hot label from Detroit, Michigan with an enviable roster. Among its acts were legendary singers such as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie as well as ground-breaking groups such as The Supremes, The Temptations, Boyz II Men, Commodores, The Jackson 5 and The Four Tops.
Caffè Lattè has selected 100 remakes of songs that started as Motown recordings. Some of these cover versions were recorded by labelmates, but the focus is on performers on other labels that have interpreted these soul gems.
