"I'll Turn To Stone" was the flip side for the 1967 single "7 Rooms Of Gloom", written by the Holland / Dozier/ Holland team and R. Dean Taylor.

FAREWELL MY SUMMER LOVE

Mjfarewell.JPGWith Michael Jackson dominating radio in the 1980s and no longer on Motown, the label had already scored success with a re-release of "One Day In Your Life". While millions of copies of MJ's 'Thriller' were flying out of record stores, Motown discovered an album's worth of previously unreleased songs. The title track, "Farewell My Summer Love" hit #38 in America and peaked at #7 in Britain.

PLASTIC MAN
The Temptations
"Plastic Man" was a single lifted off The Temptations' 1973 album 'Masterpiece'. The disc reached the US Top 40. Norman Whitfield wrote and produced the track.

TAKE ME HIGHER
Diana Ross
In 1995, Diana Ross released the title track from her 'Take Me Higher' album. Narada Michael Walden co-wrote and produced the Dance Chart #1.

ALL I DO
Stevie Wonder
"All I Do" was a track on Wonder's 1980 album 'Hotter Than July'. The song was originally cut by Tammi Terrell in 1966 but remained in the vaults for decades.

IF THIS WORLD WERE MINE
Marvin Gaye &
Tammi Terrell
Marvin Gaye penned "If This World Were Mine" and recorded it as a duet with Tammi Terrell in 1967. It peaked at #27 on the R&B Chart. A 1982 cover version by Luther Vandross & Cheryl Lynn fared better, reaching #4 on the same chart.

The Isley Brothers
"Tell Me It's Just A Rumour Baby" was a track on The Isley Brothers' 1967 album 'Soul On The Rocks'.

SEND ME NO FLOWERS
The Supremes
Holland/ Dozier/ Holland gave "Send Me No Flowers" to The Supremes to record in 1964. The cut remained in Motown's archives for 21 years.

THE HUNTER GETS CAPTURED BY THE GAME
The Marvelettes
Smokey Robinson wrote and produced The Marvelettes' version of "The Hunter Gets Captured By The Game", issued as a single in 1966. It climbed to #13 Pop and #2 R&B.
