FAREWELL MY SUMMER LOVE

With Michael Jackson dominating radio in the 1980s and no longer on Motown, the label had already scored success with a re-release of "One Day In Your Life". While millions of copies of MJ's 'Thriller' were flying out of record stores, Motown discovered an album's worth of previously unreleased songs. The title track, "Farewell My Summer Love" hit #38 in America and peaked at #7 in Britain.

"Plastic Man" was a single lifted off The Temptations' 1973 album 'Masterpiece'. The disc reached the US Top 40. Norman Whitfield wrote and produced the track.

Diana Ross
In 1995, Diana Ross released the title track from her 'Take Me Higher' album. Narada Michael Walden co-wrote and produced the Dance Chart #1.

Stevie Wonder
"All I Do" was a track on Wonder's 1980 album 'Hotter Than July'. The song was originally cut by Tammi Terrell in 1966 but remained in the vaults for decades.
