Trivia: The Cookies had previously morphed into The Raelettes, backing up Ray Charles before singing background vocals on "The Loco-Motion" for Little Eva. That hit was penned by Carole King and Gerry Goffin. The married couple also composed "Chains" for The Cookies to record.
