MY LITTLE TOWN
Simon & Garfunkel
1975
US #9
Trivia: After recording some of the defining songs of the 1960s, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel parted ways at the duo's peak, following the global success of 'Bridge Over Troubled Water'. Many assumed the lyrics to "My Little Town" were autobiographical. Simon later explained that this was inaccurate. He had penned the song for Art Garfunkel. While preparing the track with him, they decided to record it together. The reunion resulted in a #1 on the US Adult Contemporary Chart.
