Loverboy formed in Toronto, Canada. The group's first 2 albums were produced by Bruce Fairbairn. The fellow Canadian enjoyed even greater commercial success producing Bon Jovi's 'Slippery When Wet' and Aerosmith's 'Permanent Vacation' in 1986 and 1987 respectively.
