XANADU
Olivia Newton-John & ELO
|
The bulk of songs included on the ‘Xanadu’ film soundtrack
were performed by Olivia Newton-John and the Electric Light Orchestra. Each
act had one side of the album. The title song was written and produced by ELO’s
Jeff Lynne and brought the 2 acts together on the same song. In Britain, Europe
and Israel, the song reached #1. It peaked at #8 in America, #9 in Canada, #2
in Australia and #8 in New Zealand.
