Trivia:

"Love Shoulda Brought You Home" became Toni Braxton's debut single, but it was originally pitched to another soul vocalist. Anita Baker passed on the song but suggested the singer on the demo record it. That voice belonged to Braxton and she cracked the Top 40 on both sides of the Atlantic with it. The song was written for the 'Bomerang' film soundtrack and was also included on the singer's self-titled debut album.
