R/ Kelly began his departure from the overtly sexual themes of his usual material for the first of 2 albums that evoke the smooth soul of yesteryear. Listeners will re-assess their opinion of the performer. He delivers in spades, approaching songs in the spirit of Marvin Gaye. It's one of those late night making out albums that can easily sit alongside Gaye's 'Let's Get it On'. Kelly's duet with K. Michelle is reminiscent of Gaye's glorious collaborations with Tammi Terrell. Highlight tracks: Number One Hit; Love Is & Just Like That.
