The Madonna and Mirwais songwriting and production collaboration "Die Another Day" was used as the opening song from the film of the same name. First issued as a single and included on the film's soundtrack in 2002, it was included on 'American Life' the following year. The single made the Top 10 in America, Britain, Europe and Canada. Madonna had a cameo in the Bond film as Verity opposite Pierce Brosnan playing 007.

RAINBOW HIGH

Madonna landed the coveted role of Eva Peron in the screen adaptation of "Evita". Among other contenders that were rumoured or who wanted the role were Meryl Streep, Michelle Pfeiffer and Barbra Streisand. "Rainbow High" allowed Madonna a moment to revel in glamour during the motion picture.
