Madonna starred in the 1992 film 'A League Of Their Own'. "This Used To Be My Playground" was featured on its soundtrack. The ballad was written and produced by Madonna and Shep Pettibone. It did not appear on any of her albums until the release of her compilation 'Something To Remember' 3 years later.

The boppy "Jimmy Jimmy" was a collaboration with frequent writing/ production contributor Stephen Bray. It was about a local bad boy and a tribute to legendary Hollywood bad boy James Dean.

Album: Hard Candy
/ 2008
Another urban - flavoured excursion for Madonna, "4 Minutes" was a successful collaboration with Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. The single topped the UK, European, Canadian and Australian charts. In the U.S.A., the disc climbed to #3.

CHERISH
Album: Like A Prayer
/ 1989
Co-produced and co-written with Patrick Leonard, "Cherish" reached #1 in Canada and made the Top 3 in Europe, America and Britain.

YOU MUST LOVE ME
Album: Evita / 1996
Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber re-united to create a new song for the screen version of their musical "Evita". The result was the ballad "You Must Love Me". Lloyd Webber co-produced the track with Nigel Wright and the film's director Alan Parker. It won the Best Original Song Oscar and Golden Globe.

Inspired by her difficult relationship with her father, Madonna created "Oh Father" with Patrick Leonard.

"High Flying Adored" finds Madonna duetting with her 'Evita' co-star Antonio Banderas in his role as Che Guevara.

CRAZY FOR YOU
Album: The Immaculate Collection
/ 1990
"Crazy For You" was included on the soundtrack for the 1985 film 'Vision Quest'. The ballad reached the top in America, Canada and Australia. On the British Top 40, the disc made it to #2. The song was later included on Madonna's compilation album, 'The Immaculate Collection'.

LIVE TO TELL

/ 1986
"Live To Tell" was featured in the film 'At Close Range' which starred her then husband Sean Penn. The single went to #1 in America, Europe and Canada. It peaked at #2 in the UK.

HOLIDAY
Album: Madonna
/ 1983
Australia was the first territory to send Madonna into the Top 40. The breakthrough song for the rest of the world was "Holiday". It topped Billboard's Dance Chart and reached #2 in Britain.
