A jilted lover gets revenge on "She's Not Me, a song Madonna co-wrote with Pharrell Williams. The latter co-produced the track with fellow Neptunes partner Chad Hugo.

Madonna covered Rose Royce's 1978 soul hit "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" first for 'Like A Virgin'. It was later included on the 'Something To Remember' compilation from which it was lifted as a single.

Madonna is said to have built 'Secret" on a demo by Shep Pettibone. With later changes by Dallas Austin, the track emerged as it sounds on 'Bedtime Stories'. Madonna co-produced the single with Austin.

America was bleak following the terror attacks on September 11. "Hollywood" finds Madonna pondering on this co-write and co-production with Mirwais. The single peaked at #2 in Britain.

DON'T TELL ME

"Don't Tell Me" began as a song named "Stop" written by singer / songwriter Joe Henry. His wife, Madonna's sister Melanie, suggested he send the song to her famous sibling. Henry's song was adapted by his sister-in-law and her producer Mirwais. It was the second single lifted off the 'Music' album.
