Trivia: Lifted off The Jam's final studio album 'The Gift', "Town Called Malice" debuted at #1 in the UK. The single evoked memories of  the Motown beat of the 1960s. Pivotal member Paul Weller would soon disband the group and re-emerge with a new act: The Style Council.
