Album: Like A Virgin / 1984
Nile Rodgers produced "Material Girl", a single tha made the Top 5 in America, the UK, Europe, Canada and Australia.

LA ISLA BONITA
Album: True Blue / 1986
Patrick Leonard first offered "La Isla Bonita" to Michael Jackson. After he rejected it, Madonna altered the song and released it. The single topped charts in Britain, Europe and Canada.

INTO THE GROOVE
Album: Like A Virgin / 1985
Co-written and co-produced by Madonna with Stephen Bray, "Into The Groove" was featured in the singer's first major film 'Desperately Seeking Susan'. Following its #1 success in Britain and Australia in 1985, the hit was added to that year's re-issued edition of 'Like A Virgin'.

YOU’LL SEE
Album: Something To Remember / 1995
David Foster co-wrote and co-produced "You'll See" with Madonna. A global Top 10 ballad, it features some of the singer's most empowering lyrics and arguably her finest vocal.

MUSIC
Album: Music / 2000
The title track and lead single from Madonna's first album in the new millennium was "Music". The collaboration with Mirwais topped charts in America, Britain, Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

LIKE A VIRGIN
Album: Like A Virgin / 1984
"Like A Virgin" turned Madonna into a superstar. The song was written by Tom Kelly and Billy Steinberg. Nile Rodgers produced the track. Accompanied by an unforgettable video featuring Madonna in the Italian city of Venice, the single shot to #1 in America, Japan, Canada and Australia.

LIKE A PRAYER
Album: Like A Prayer / 1989
Madonna and Patrick Leonard created "Like A Prayer". Its music video sparked controversy, but sales went unhindered. The single reached #1 in the US, Britain, Japan, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

RAY OF LIGHT
Album: Ray Of Light / 1998
"Ray Of Light" began life as a song entitled "Sepheryn" by Curtiss Muldoon. She had co-written it with Dave Curtis. William Orbit and Christine Leach re-recorded it after making some alterations. Madonna changed the song again when it became the title track of her album. The single reached the Top 5 on both sides of the Atlantic.

VOGUE
Album: I'm Breathless / 1990
Although the song has nothing to do with Dick Tracy, "Vogue" was added to the movie's soundtrack 'I'm Breathless'. Penned and produced by Madonna and Shep Pettibone, the disc ruled the charts in America, Britain, Europe, Japan, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

JUSTIFY MY LOVE
Album: The Immaculate Collection / 1990
"Justify My Love" was written by Madonna, Lenny Kravitz and Ingrid Chavez. André Betts and Kravitz produced the track which was one of the new songs included on the compilation album 'The Immaculate Collection'. It climbed to #1 in America and Canada. The disc peaked at #2 in the UK.
