The Supremes hated the song. It had already been rejected by others. The trio recorded the track, written by Holland / Dozier / Holland. "Where Did Our Love Go" finally broke The Supremes. It sped up the charts, reaching the top on both the American Soul & Pop charts. It peaked at #3 in Britain. The Supremes had finally arrived.
