As the follow-up to the #1 hit "Where Did Our Love Go", "Baby Love" proved The Supremes' first chart-topping disc was no fluke. This new song penned by the Holland / Dozier/ Holland team also reached #1 in America. While its predecessor had peaked at #3 in Britain, "Baby Love" went all the way to the top.

One of the last great singles from the original Supremes hit line-up of Diana Ross, Mary Wilson and Florence Ballard. "My World Is Empty Without You" was written by H/D/H and climbed to #5 in the U.S.A.

1967
This was the final single from The Supremes to feature Florence Ballard on background vocals. She would soon be sacked and replaced by Cindy Birdsong. Tensions within the trio had been souring for some time. As far as the public was concerned however, The Supremes enjoyed immense popularity. "In And Out Of Love" peaked at #9 in America and #13 in Britain.
