SOMEDAY WE'LL BE TOGETHER
1969
Diana’s final single with The Supremes was a fitting swan song. This was the last #1 single on the American Hot 100 of the 1960s. Although credited to The Supremes, Diana is the only member of the trio featured on the track. The other female vocalists heard are The Andantes. Producer and co-writer Johnny Bristol (who cut the original version) contributes the male backup vocal. This single also topped the R&B Chart. "Someday We'll Be Together" was the last of a dozen chart-topping discs for the trio: more than any other American group during the Sixties.
