The Eurovision Song Contest begins in Tel Aviv on May 14. Two semi-finals will see 35 songs reduced to 20 to join last year’s winning nation Israel and the pre-qualified ‘Big 5’ countries (France, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom & Germany) in the Grand Final 4 days later.

The songs are ranked in order of song quality, starting with the weakest of the 41 entries. Preferences may change once they are performed live during the Semi-Finals.

Sisters

Performed in English, this song has pre-qualified for the Grand Final as Germany is one of the so-called “Big 5” countries that need not qualify each year. It seems to ba grower and it may well gather steam as the big night approaches, but it lacks punch.
