Trivia:

When recording the album that would become 'Voices', Daryl Hall and John Oates realized that working with outside producers and recording away from home was not conducive to achieving what they wanted in their musical output. Hall and Oates decided to produce the album and worked on the songs in New York, not far from where they lived. The result was a string of hit singles like "Kiss On My List". Hall co-wrote the song with the sister of his girlfriend Sara. Together, he and Janna Allen came up with the infectious track.
