The Bee Gees was a trio consisting of 3 siblings: older brother Barry (born in Manchester in 1946), and twins Maurice and Robin Gibb (born Isle Of Man in 1949). The brothers first performed in Manchester in 1955. Three years later, the Gibb family emigrated to Brisbane, Australia. Today, the group is regarded one of the most successful music acts of all-time.

A single from 1967 where Barry and Robin share lead vocals from the ‘Bee Gees’ 1st’ album.

IF ONLY YOU WERE MINE Barbra Streisand & Barry Gibb

This unreleased track finally surfaced on Barbra Streisand’s 2021 album ‘Release Me 2’. It was intended as a bonus track for ‘Guilty Pleasures’. The duet was recorded in 2005.

DON’T FORGET TO REMEMBER Bee Gees

Written by Barry and Maurice Gibb, this was a single issued in 1969 and also included on the ‘Cucumber Castle’ LP.

THE LOVE INSIDE Barbra Streisand

This track was on the first collaboration between Streisand and the Gibbs, ‘Guilty’ which was a #1 album in 1980.

Written by the trio, this single lifted off 1976’s ‘Children Of The World’ album, features lead vocals shared by Barry and Robin.

Barry and Robin wrote this track on ‘Children Of The World’ with Blue Weaver. The latter played keyboards on numerous Bee Gees sessions.

Included on the 1975 album ‘Main Course’, this proved to be a prophetic title as the Bee Gees headed towards a funkier/ soul-flavoured direction which would evolve into a lucrative sound.

Barry and Blue Weaver wrote this hit from Andy Gibb’s ‘Shadow Dancing’ album. In 1978, the single reached the Top 10 in America and Britain.
