The Bee Gees was a trio consisting of 3 siblings: older brother Barry (born in Manchester in 1946), and twins Maurice and Robin Gibb (born Isle Of Man in 1949). The brothers first performed in Manchester in 1955. Three years later, the Gibb family emigrated to Brisbane, Australia. Today, the group is regarded one of the most successful music acts of all-time.

This single was written by Barry and Maurice Gibb. Originally intended for Joe Cocker, it was a hit in 1969 in Britain, Australia and Europe for the trio.

Written by the 3 brothers, this 1967 song features Barry on lead vocals and was issued as the B-side for the single “Holiday”.

Co-written and co-produced by Barry for the 1985 ‘Eaten Alive’ album from the legendary Diana Ross.

As well as releasing albums as a trio, the Gibbs worked on album projects for some of music’s best vocalists, Dionne Warwick among them. This was included on the ‘Heartbreaker’ album.

IF I ONLY HAD MY MIND ON SOMETHING ELSE Bee Gees

Penned by Barry and Maurice, this was the opening track on the 1969 ‘Cucumber Castle’ album. Robin had temporarily quit the trio at the time so the LP only featured Barry and Maurice Gibb.

Written by Barry and Maurice and produced by Robert Stigwood and the trio, this was the follow-up single to “If I Only Had My Mind On Something Else’ also included on ‘Cucumber Castle’.
