The trio TLC came up with its name by combining the first letter of each member's nickname: Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas. "Unpretty" was TLC's second song to top the US Chart, as the women had with previous single "No Scrubs".
