After her debut solo album 'Marcia Shines' reached #4 on the Australian chart, a follow-up from Marcia Hines was inevitable. The immigrant performer unleashed 'Shining' 13 months later. The title track was penned by producer Robie Porter. Its stunning intro makes the listener sit up and take notice. Hines delivers a breathtaking vocal performance. Of all her studio albums, 'Shining' remains Hines' highest charting, thanks to its peak position of #3 in 1976.
