THE SWING: INXS

By 1984's 'The Swing' Australian group INXS had evolved a sound ripe for international appeal. The band infused its new wave / punk and rock attitude with funk. This LP contains the brilliant track "Original Sin". The hit single, produced by Nile Rodgers, had an irresistible hook as well as a social message. INXS cleverly kept the tracks on 'The Swing' diverse and this ensures the interest level is sustained throughout. They managed this without straying too far from the punk and dance rhythms that make INXS stand out. Highlight tracks: Original Sin; I Send A Message & Burn For You.
