Two simultaneous countdowns related to the Fab Four. The group’s 100 most essential songs as well as the 100 best recordings from the members’ solo careers. Priority was given to original compositions, but some cover versions demanded inclusion. Songs are ranked in terms of sales, musical impact, influence and sustained quality.

1 0 0	YOUR MOTHER SHOULD KNOW From the group’s ‘Magical Mystery Tour’ album, “Your Mother Should Know” was performed by the band in the film of the same name’s finale. Paul handled lead vocals and wrote the song.
	ALL DAY / FOURFIVESECONDS Kanye West, Rihanna & Paul McCartney McCartney doesn’t exactly seem all that integral to these 2 recordings, but they prove he can still be a chart force in today’s market. The truth is that many who downloaded the tracks were more fans of the other 2 participants than McCartney.  Nevertheless, "Fourfiveseconds" returned the former Beatle to the top of the charts around the world.
9 9	THE NIGHT BEFORE From the group’s ‘Help!’ soundtrack album, “The Night Before” was penned by Paul and he sings lead vocals.
	APPLE SCRUFFS George Harrison “Apple Scruffs” was a song by Harrison from his first solo album following the split of The Beatles, ‘All Things Must Pass’.
9 8	NOT A SECOND TIME John composed “Not A Second Time” and he sings lead. It was later revealed that he drew inspiration from Smokey Robinson & The Miracles in writing this song. The track was recorded in 1963 and appeared on ‘With The Beatles’.
	ONLY PEOPLE John Lennon 1973’s ‘Mind Games’ album contained “Only People” an upbeat thought-provoking song.
9 7	OCTOPUS’ S GARDEN One of the rare strong songs offered to the group by Ringo.  He sang lead vocals and blew bubbles in a glass of water for effect on the track.
	NEW BLUE MOON Traveling Wilburys The Traveling Wilburys consisted of George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne. “New Blue Moon” was from the group’s 2nd album, mischievously entitled ‘Vol. 3’ and released in 1990.
9 6	I’M A LOSER “I’m A Loser” demonstrated the evolving songwriting craft of The Beatles and, in this case, John. His composition was included on the 1964 album ‘Beatles For Sale’.
	PIPES OF PEACE Paul McCartney McCartney’s only UK #1 achieved on his own is “Pipes Of Peace”. It was the title track from his 1983 album.
