ROXY ROLLER
Nick Gilder
1976
Trivia: Canadian singer / songwriter Nick Gilder began his career in music as a member of the glam band Sweeney Todd. He co-wrote "Roxy Roller" with bandmate Jim McCulloch. The 2 quit Sweeney Todd, a group that later welcomed a 15 year old Bryan Adams into its line-up. Gilder, in the meantime, launched his solo career and re-recorded "Roxy Roller". He secured even greater chart success with the 1978 US #1 "Hot Child In The City".
