BAD
Michael Jackson
This was initially intended as a duet with Prince but he reportedly was uncomfortable singing the “your butt is mine” lyric and declined the invitation. The title song from Michael’s 1987 ‘Bad’ album made #1 on Billboard’s Pop, R&B and Dance charts. As well as reaching the Top 10 in various European countries, the single did the same in Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Prince did submit a new song for Michael’s consideration. The composition “Wouldn’t You Love To Love Me” was rejected by MJ. Prince later recorded the song with Taja Sevelle.
