One of the standouts on the brothers’ 1980 ‘Triumph’ album, this upbeat track was written by Michael with brother Randy. The former handles lead vocals. On the US Album Chart, the LP became the group’s first to reach the Top 10 since 1972. The single made #12 Pop, #2 Soul and topped the Disco Chart.

ONE DAY IN YOUR LIFE

Michael Jackson

Another song released by Motown in 1981 to cash in on his success on new label Epic Records with ‘Off The Wall’. The track was originally on the 1975 album ‘Forever, Michael’. In Britain, the disc reached #1.

WHOOPS NOW

Janet Jackson

This was a hidden track on the ‘Janet.’ Album. Once lifted as a single with “What’ll I Do”, it gave Janet another UK Top 10 hit. As well as doing the same in many European countries, the single also reached #1 in New Zealand in 1995.

SAY, SAY, SAY

Michael Jackson & Paul McCartney

Legendary producer George Martin was at the helm for this first duet hit by Michael and the former Beatle. The two music titans combined forces for this song which wound up on Paul McCartney’s ‘Pipes Of Peace’ album. “Say, Say, Say” reached #1 in America and peaked at #2 in the UK. It was a global smash. The pair re-united for “The Girl Is Mine” a year later.
