Married songwriting couple Alan & Marilyn Bergman have been writing songs for Barbra Streisand for decades. The prolific couple have also written for Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Tony Bennett and collected Oscars for their film songs. On 'What Matters Most', Streisand tackles some of the couple's songs she had yet to record. There are gems such as "Windmills Of Your Mind", "Nice 'n' Easy" and "That Face". Along with a lucrative working relationship, a friendship between the three endures and is evident throughout the collection of songs selected here.
